CHI LIN NUNNERY AND NAN LIAN GARDER

Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden are both located in Diamond Hill, Kowloon. The gardens are characterized by the four main elements of Tang-style gardens with artificial hillocks and ornamental rocks, water features, timber structures and old trees.

Firstly, Chi Lin Nunnery is one of our favorite go to places as it shows the inner calm side of Hong Kong. Noise barriers shield the gardens from the sound of traffic outside the garden.  Meaning visitors, can enjoy a truly beautiful, colorful and scenic place to relax in. Secondly, the garden has a tranquil and serene atmosphere, making it perfect to escape the busyness of Hong Kong. 

As you walk around the garden you can see many things, for instance the water ponds, the Chinese Timber Architecture Gallery, and the Pine Path, to name just a few attractions.  In addition, there is also a souvenir shop, a vegetarian restaurant, a Chinese tea house and a multi-purpose function room.  

Nan Lian Garden is joined to Chi Lin Nunnery by a bridge and is surrounded by the high-rise buildings. Together they form one of the most impressive sites in Hong Kong.  Great place to visit for everyone.
