Ocean Park

Ocean Park is a marine-life theme park featuring animals, thrill rides and shows. It is located in the Southern District of Hong Kong and is the second largest theme park in Hong Kong, following Hong Kong Disneyland.

There are two major attractions areas, the Waterfront and the Summit, which are connected by the Cable Car and Ocean Express funicular train.

There is plenty to do and see in Ocean Park. From seeing the amazing animals, shows, riding some of the thrill rides, wet rides and more gentle rides. There is something for everyone at Ocean Park

I recommend buying tickets in advance as the park can get very crowded so the ticket booth lines can be quite long. I am sure you don;t want to wast time lining up, when you can be having fun. Klook is a great online website and app which  usually gives some good discounts and offers.

There is a car park and when we arrived around 10 a.m and there were plenty of spaces, but arriving later may not guarantee a space. Parking is quite expensive so I would probably recommend traveling by public transport unless you have a car full of under 7’s (like I did) then it is worth paying that bit extra to park the car.

If you’re looking for a family getaway then Ocean Park Marriott Hotel will be an ideal place to stay. The hotel recently opened earlier this year and is perfect for those wanting to extend their time exploring the park.
